South Brittany

Located in the West of France, southern Brittany is made up of the departments of Finistère and Morbihan, to which we have chosen to add Loire-Atlantique.

With its vast beaches, salt marshes, windswept moors, and miles of ocean-fringed coastline, southern Brittany offers a wide variety of landscapes. Rich in mystical traditions, exceptional gastronomy, and numerous nature reserves, it's the ideal destination to recharge your batteries with family or friends away from the crowds. To visit, we recommend reaching it by train and then traveling without a car. The coast is easily explored on foot via the GR 34, better known as the Customs Officers' Trail. The islands can be reached by sailboat or motorboat, while the rest of the region can be explored by bike. You'll meet humble and friendly locals, proud to share a piece of their Brittany with passing visitors.
