Catherine Rome ,
Ceramicist

His story

After years in Barcelona, Caterina Roma moved to Púbol, a stone's throw from the Gala Dalí Castle, into a medieval house that she transformed into a studio-gallery. Trained in literature and philology before dedicating herself to ceramics, she works with local wild clay and wood-fired kilns, with a sensibility nurtured by the Mediterranean and Japanese techniques like kintsugi. Her pieces dialogue with the great chefs of the region and tell the story of a territory through its materials.

“When you buy a piece, you take a fragment of the region with you.”
