Helena Agustí Sanahuja ,
Founder of Cova Empordà

His story

Coming from the world of design and creation, Helena Agustí opened Cova Empordà in Ullastret in the summer of 2025, in an old workshop adjacent to the Recuits Nuri cheese factory. Her shop combines local and international pieces: ceramics, vintage furniture, designer editions, gourmet food, and natural wines. Passionate about minimalist aesthetics and materials, she advocates a vision of the region where slowness and attention to detail nurture creativity. Cova aims to be a living space, designed for both residents and passing visitors.

“Here, we go out, we observe, we take our time, and that greatly fuels creativity.”
